Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini has expressed her “great sorrow” over the killing of the three young Israelis kidnapped a few weeks ago. “We feel the utmost sympathy for Israel at this time of deep mourning. I wish to convey my own and the entire Italian Government’s condolences to the Israeli Government and people for this murder, which we condemn most firmly. I hope that full light will be shed upon what has happened and that those responsible for this cowardly act are brought to justice as soon as possible”.<\/p><\/div>\n

“I appeal to all parties concerned to show that anyone who attacks Israel’s security will not prevail by undermining the pathway of dialogue, the only hope for a true and lasting peace in the region”, declared Minister Mogherini.<\/p><\/div>\n
