Declining health and nutrition levels among children and women in particular, as well as lack of access to health facilities will continue to be of concern.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">\/&#8230;<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>PRRO 10387.1 &#8211; Protracted Relief Operation for Non-Refugee Palestinians<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong>01 September 2007 &#8211; 31 August 2009<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:left;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><img class=\"lazyload\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27327%27%20height%3D%27121%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20327%20121%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27327%27%20height%3D%27121%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/206b81fef59c74e48525746a0051335b_image1.GIF\" border=\"0\" height=\"121px\" width=\"327px\" \/><\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">Under the PRRO, WFP supports over 650,000 of the most vulnerable and food-insecure non-refugee population in the West Bank and Gaza who have been affected by a steady decline of living standards.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8226; Forecast contributions, if received, should cover operational needs through the end of October. It is essential that all contributions be received on schedule, given the large quantities involved and the ever-changing access restrictions. A temporary pipeline break in High Energy Biscuits &#8211; included among blended foods above &#8211; for the Gaza school feeding programme will be alleviated<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">by the beginning of July. Included among &#39;other&#39; in the table are dates, meat, fish, sugar and salt.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8226; The food security situation in the West Bank remains problematic due to movement restrictions and soaring food prices. Social hardship cases are most acutely affected as they remain entirely reliant on WFP assistance. Critical food security levels in the Gaza Strip are compounded by rising food costs and fuel shortages.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;font-size:8pt;font-family:Arial, san-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\">&#8226; WFP&#39;s operation meets the food needs of the most vulnerable non-refugees, contributing to the poverty reduction strategy by supporting productive activities and skills development.
