Permanent Mission of Lebanon to the United Nations addressed
\nto the Secretary-General<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith a statistical table showing the number of Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty during the month of May 2002 (see annex).<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>These Israeli violations and acts of aggression against Lebanese sovereignty by air, land and sea constitute violations of the Blue Line and of <\/span>Security Council resolution 425 (1978)<\/a> and represent a threat to stability in the region by spreading an atmosphere of tension.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I should be grateful if you would have this letter circulated as a document of the General Assembly, under agenda item 42, and of the Security Council. <\/p><\/div>\n
