LETTER DATED 28 AUGUST 1980 FROM THE PERMANENT REPRESENTATIVE OF COLOMBIA<\/p><\/div>\n

TO THE UNITED NATIONS ADDRESSED TO THE SECRETARY-GENERAL<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

On instructions from my Government, I have the honour to inform you that, in accordance with Security Council resolution 478, of 20 August 1980, Colombia has decided to withdraw its diplomatic Mission to the Government of Israel from the Holy City of Jerusalem and to transfer it to Tel Aviv.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Colombia is today communicating this decision to His Excellency the Ambassador of Israel at Bogota`.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

I should be grateful if you would have this communication circulated as document of the Security Council.<\/p><\/div>\n
