\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of October, I have the honour to request that, during the Council's discussion of the item presently on its agenda, the Security Council extend an invitation under Rule 39 of its provisional rules of procedure to His Excellency Dr. Clovis Maksoud, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Observer of the League of Arab States to the United Nations.<\/p><\/div>\n
