\t<\/span>In my capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of June 2002, and on behalf of the States members of the League of Arab States, I request that an urgent meeting of the Security Council be convened to consider the extremely grave and deteriorating situation in the occupied Palestinian territory, including Jerusalem, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the relevant Security Council resolutions.<\/p><\/div>\n
