Letter dated 16 October 2003 from the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations addressed to the President of the General Assembly<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

  In my capacity as Chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Group at the United Nations, I have the honour to refer to the letter to you dated 15 October 2003 from Fayssal Mekdad, Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations, in his capacity as Chairman of the Arab Group for the month of October 2003 (<\/span>A\/ES-10\/242<\/a>), and to convey to you the support of the OIC Group for the request of the Arab Group to resume the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly to consider the agenda item entitled “Illegal Israeli actions in Occupied East Jerusalem and the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory”.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

  I should be grateful if you would arrange for the present letter to be circulated as a document of the tenth emergency special session under item 5. <\/p><\/div>\n
