  I have the honour to request that, in accordance with its previous practice, the Security Council invite Riad Al-Malki, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Palestinian National Authority, to participate in the meeting of the Security Council that will be held on Thursday, 8 January 2009, regarding the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, especially in the Gaza Strip. <\/p><\/div>\n
