The representative of Costa Rica stated that her Government shared the concerns expressed by the Secretary-General and the President of the General Assembly regarding the action taken by the United States. It understood, however, the reasons given by the United States authorities. Costa Rica had maintained a firm stand against terrorism. Her delegation joined in the appeal to the United States to reconsider its decision.<\/p><\/div>\n
