                Letter dated 12 December 1994 from the Permanent<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

                Representative of Portugal to the United Nations<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

addressed to the Secretary-General<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I have the honour to inform Your Excellency that the Government of Portugal has decided to contribute $25,000 to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>In addition to this voluntary contribution, my Government has also decided to contribute a further $15,000 to assist in the transfer of the headquarters of UNRWA to Gaza.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>I would kindly request that this letter be circulated as an official document of the Assembly under agenda item 77.<\/p><\/div>\n
