\t<\/span>I am writing to you to inform you of even more Palestinian casualties as a result of the continuing Israeli military campaign against the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including Jerusalem. Although the incidence of casualties has decreased as a result of the decreased intensity of the Israeli campaign, that campaign has regrettably continued, as have its countless negative consequences.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>Since my last letter to you, dated 16 January 2001, on this grave matter, nine Palestinian civilians have been killed by the Israeli occupying forces, bringing the total number of Palestinian martyrs to 341. (The names of the nine martyrs are contained in the annex to the present letter.) \t<\/span>I should be grateful if you would arrange to have the text of the present letter and its annex distributed as a document of the tenth emergency special session of the General Assembly, and of the Security Council.<\/p><\/div>\n
