At the 28th meeting, the Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions introduced the related report of that Committee (A\/61\/614).\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t2.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>The statements and comments made in the course of the Fifth Committee&#8217;s consideration of this question are reflected in the relevant summary records (A\/C.5\/61\/SR.28 and 29).\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t3.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>At the 29th meeting, the Chairman of the Committee orally proposed a draft decision.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t4.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>At the same meeting, a recorded vote was requested on the draft decision.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t5.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>Before the vote on the draft decision, the representative of Israel made a statement.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color:#000000;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">6.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>Also at the 29th meeting, the Committee adopted the draft decision by a recorded vote of 116 to 6, with 1 abstention (see para. 8). font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>After the adoption of the draft decision, statements in explanation of position were made by the representatives of Japan, Finland (on behalf of the States Members of the United Nations that are members of the European Union), the United States of America, Australia and South Africa (on behalf of the States Members of the United Nations that are members of the Group of 77 and China) (see A\/C.5\/61\/SR.29).\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:left;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;\"><strong><span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t\t<\/span>Decision of the Fifth Committee<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t8.<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>The Fifth Committee, having considered the statement of programme budget implications submitted by the Secretary-General (A\/C.5\/61\/13) arising from the draft resolution on the establishment of the United Nations Register of Damage caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (A\/ES-10\/L.20) and the related report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (A\/61\/614):\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>(a)<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>Decides to endorse the observations and recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>(b)<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre; font-size:smaller\">\t<\/span>Reaffirms rule 153 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly;\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"color:#000000;text-align:justify;padding-top:10px;font-size:10pt;font-family:Times New Roman, serif;margin-left:60px;\">\n\t\t\t\t<span class=\"Apple-tab-span\" style=\"white-space:pre;
