\t<\/span>We attach herewith the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates on 1 October 1985 concerning the Israeli attack on Tunis.<\/p><\/div>\n

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates<\/u><\/p><\/div>\n

\n

\t<\/span>An official spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made the following statement concerning the savage attack launched by the Zionist enemy against the headquarters of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Tunis.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>"The United Arab Emirates strongly deplores the wicked aggression of the Zionist enemy against the headquarters of the Palestine Liberation Organization in Tunis and reaffirms its determined support for and full solidarity with its brothers in Tunisia and the Palestine Liberation Organization in confronting this disgraceful criminal action, which confirms the inherently aggressive policy of the Zionist enemy. The action also constitutes a gross violation of the sovereignty of a sisterly Arab country and of the Arab community as a whole, and a blatant threat to peace and stability in the Middle East region and the entire world.\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>The United Arab Emirates, in expressing to the Tunisian and Palestinian peoples its warm fraternal condolences and deep sorrow for those who died as martyrs as a result of this savage attack, firmly believes that the Arab community must confront this grave aggression with a serious, decisive and united stand which will preserve the dignity and rights at the Arabs. It must do this because the whole Arab community has now been subjected to aggression and plunder and threatened, in every near or distant location, by this vicious enemy which respects neither sanctity nor sovereignty and understands no language other than that of violence and force."\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
