OF THE SECURITY COUNCIL, DATED 19 MARCH 1948<\/p><\/div>\n

Sir,<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>I have the honor to inform you, under instructions from my Government, that the establishment of the State of East Sumatra under the sponsorship of the Netherlands Government, on 15 March 1948, is considered by my Government to be a violation of the Renville Agreement.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>My Government protests this and intends to bring this matter into the discussion when the security Council takes up the committee of Good Offices' report on West Java and Madura.<\/p><\/div>\n
