{"id":132597,"date":"2018-04-20T14:44:03","date_gmt":"2018-04-20T14:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/?post_type=document&#038;p=132597"},"modified":"2018-04-27T18:44:14","modified_gmt":"2018-04-27T22:44:14","slug":"call-for-roster-civil-society-organisations-in-the-field-of-rule-of-law-justice-and-security-un-women-article","status":"publish","type":"document","link":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/unispal\/document\/call-for-roster-civil-society-organisations-in-the-field-of-rule-of-law-justice-and-security-un-women-article\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for Roster: Civil Society Organisations in the Field of Rule of Law, Justice, and Security &#8211; UN Women Article"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Date:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, April 20, 2018<\/p>\n<p>The Joint UNDP\/UN Women\/UNICEF Programme\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Sawasya II:\u00a0Promoting the Rule of law in Palestine\u00a0(2018-2023)&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0is\u00a0soliciting expressions of interest from experienced\u00a0civil\u00a0society organisations(CSOs)\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0field\u00a0of rule\u00a0of\u00a0law,\u00a0human rights, gender equality and\u00a0justice for children\u00a0for\u00a0the\u00a0implementation\u00a0of the\u00a0multi-year\u00a0programme.\u00a0Only those organizations which\u00a0meet\u00a0all\u00a0pre-qualification\u00a0criteria\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0part\u00a0of the\u00a0roster\u00a0and\u00a0thus become eligible to be considered for a\u00a0partnership\u00a0arrangement\u00a0for\u00a0the implementation of specific outputs during the programme\u00a0implementation cycle. However, admission to the Civil Society Roster does not guarantee that a partnership with\u00a0<em>Sawasya<\/em>\u00a0II will be established.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Instructions to Applicants<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SAWASYA II will carry out a selection process consisting of multiple stages to identify the most relevant CSOs for partnership under this initiative. This process of applying to join the roster is referred to as the \u2018Pre-Qualification Process\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the pre-qualification process is two-fold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To determine whether interested CSOs meet\u00a0<em>Sawasya<\/em>\u00a0II\u00a0<em>mandatory criteria<\/em>\u00a0for partnership under this Programme (see further section 6)<\/li>\n<li>To\u00a0<em>assess the<\/em>\u00a0<em>capacity levels<\/em>\u00a0of interested CSOs in order to determine appropriate levels of financial and capacity building support (see further section 6)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CSOs will be assessed based on the documents and information they provide during this process.
