The event is being organized in cooperation with the Bruno Kreisky Forum for International Dialogue, with the support of the United Nations Information Service in Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>This year, discussions under the overall theme &#8220;The question of Palestine: media narratives and public perspectives&#8221; will focus on a range of topics related to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including the current trends and outlook for the future in the light of 50 years of occupation; the role of empathy as an alternative way for seeking peace; media narratives and public perceptions from the Israeli and Palestinian perspectives; and the conflict through the lens of international media.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day event will bring together journalists, diplomats, current and former policy-makers, academics, experts, and representatives of civil society from various parts of the world, including from Israel and Palestine.
