United Nations catalytic support to South-South and Triangular Cooperation in implementing the 2030 Agenda” in Bonn, Germany, 18 – 19 October 2017

In collaboration with the United Nations System Staff College, the Committee supported the participation of two diplomats from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a training session entitled “United Nations catalytic support to South-South and triangular cooperation in implementing the 2030 Agenda” in Bonn, Germany, from 18 to 19 October 2017.

The training equipped the diplomats with key principles, tools and methods needed to comprehend the challenges and opportunities inherent in South-South and triangular cooperation, as well as to better understand the roles of different actors involved and how to mobilise relevant partnerships. The training enhanced understanding of the catalytic role the UN can play in promoting the South-South Cooperation agendas of its Member States and development partners as a whole.
