In collaboration with the United Nations System Staff College, the Committee supported the participation of two diplomats: from the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA), in a training session entitled “UN Catalytic Support to South-South & Triangular Cooperation in implementing the 2030 Agenda”, 29 – 31 October 2019, Turin, Italy.

The session taught them key principles, tools and methods needed to understand the challenges and opportunities inherent in South-South and triangular cooperation, as well as to better understand the roles of different actors involved and equipped them with tools to mobilise relevant partnerships. The training enhanced their understanding of the catalytic role the UN can play in promoting the South-South Cooperation.
