2021 Briefing Session for Delegates on the Mandate of the Committee and its Programme of Work

On 25 February, the Division for Palestinian Rights held its annual briefing meeting for delegates to appreciate the mandate of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) and its programme of work.  Attended by 19 Member States and the Holy See Mission, the briefing also included a presentation on the “Special Information Programme on the Question of Palestine” by the Department of Global Communications. The discussion focused on the continued relevance of the Committee, and the meeting concluded with a call for member states to participate in Committee activities and engage with the Committee in pursuit of its General Assembly mandate.
