HIGHLIGHTS

• WFP continues to expand its plans for cash-based assistance in Gaza, with a growing proportion of beneficiaries targeted to transition from receiving in-kind food assistance to monthly digital transfers via e-wallets. The transition aims to improve household choice and dietary diversity while supporting local market recovery.
• Despite the ceasefire, continued airstrikes, extreme weather conditions, significant administrative and access restrictions continue to challenge humanitarian operations. These constraints limit the scale, speed, and predictability of food assistance entering Gaza.
• Shelter remains a critical life-saving gap in Gaza. Ongoing winter conditions and heavy rain are exposing displaced families to serious health, nutrition, and protection risks. Without urgent access for winterized shelter support, humanitarian gains in other sectors will not be sustained.
