On 13 July 2022, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People held its 407th meeting, which Ambassador Cheikh Niang chaired, to consider progress in the implementation of its 2022 programme of work. The Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine updated the Committee on the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. Committee members and Observers made interventions calling – among other issues – to increase support for UNRWA. The Committee approved the accreditation of the following three CSOs recommended by the Committee Bureau., i.e., Leonard Education Organization (L.E.O.) (United States); Law for Palestine (L4P) (Sweden); and Hebron Rehabilitation Committee (H.R.C.) (State of Palestine).
