The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its rejection and condemnation of the Israeli groundless statements about the alleged sovereignty over the occupied city of Al-Quds and the demolition of the Al-Rajabi family building in Silwan, considering this a flagrant violation of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

The OIC asserted its firm support for the right of the Palestinian people to full sovereignty over East Al-Quds as the eternal capital of the State of Palestine and reiterated its condemnation of all Israeli positions and measures aimed at changing the legal and historical status of the holy city, including its nefarious colonial settlement, home demolitions, forced displacement of Palestinian citizens, and the attempt for temporal and spatial division of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The OIC also held Israel, the criminal occupying power, fully and directly liable for the continuation of these daily crimes and attacks against the Palestinian people and their sanctities, calling at the same time on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibilities to implement its resolutions and pressuring Israel, the apartheid occupying power, to stop its continuous violations of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
