The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned so-called “nation state” law passed by Israeli Knesset, describing it as a blatant affront to the international community’s will, laws and resolutions.
Faulting the new Israeli law as racist, void and illegitimate, the OIC Secretary General, Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen, said it is indicative of a disregard for the established historical rights of the Palestinians, Muslims and Christians alike. The law will further fuel the Israeli settlement and occupation policy of ethnic cleansing, denying Palestinians’ existence, history and internationally recognized rights, Dr Al-Othaimeen warned.
He called on the international community to reject and denounce this racist law and oppose all Israeli discriminatory laws and policies as prejudicial to the two-state solution.
