The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attacks on the Palestinian prisoners, especially in the Ofer military prison, which injured dozens of them. The OIC stressed its constant stand on the side of the prisoners in order to convey their message, voice and suffering to the whole world and support their right to freedom, justice and dignity.
The OIC General Secretariat called on the international community to intervene in order to pressure Israel, the occupying Power, to stop these arbitrary measures and incessant acts of oppression and repression it commits against the Palestinian prisoners and to ensure their treatment pursuant to the rules of the International Law and International Humanitarian Law.
