Alfano: “Our vote against the politicised resolution on Israel is an important step, for it shows that when Italy disagrees, it votes ‘no’ and takes upon itself the full responsibility. In this case we have played a leading role within the international community. Five countries have joined us in casting a ‘no’ vote: the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Greece.”
