Situation Overview
Between the start of the crisis on 7 October and 20 October, approximately 2,100 commercial trucks should have reached Gaza through the Rafah border crossing alone, but none did. Since the re-opening of Rafah border crossing for humanitarian cargo on 21 October, the daily average number of confirmed trucks that crossed through Rafah is less than 30 per cent of the normal daily average for Rafah alone and less than 10 per cent of the normal daily average for all crossing points.
