The event \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/brighton-to-palestine-with-love-2015\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=PSC+update%3A+the+ongoing+Nakba+%28catastrophe%29&amp;utm_source=YMLP&amp;utm_term=Read+More\">Brighton to Palestine with Love 2015<\/a>\u201d brought together in Brighton an exhibition of photographs, a play, short films, sale of fair trade products and craft and a live concert.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mosaicrooms.org\/event\/book-launch-return-a-palestinian-memoir\/\">Mosaic Rooms and Verso<\/a>\u00a0invited participants to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/book-launch-return-a-palestinian-memoir\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=PSC+update%3A+the+ongoing+Nakba+%28catastrophe%29&amp;utm_source=YMLP&amp;utm_term=Read+More\">launch of the book<\/a>\u00a0\u201cReturn: A Palestinian Memoir\u201d,\u00a0by internationally best-selling author Ghada Karmi which will be held in London on 20 May.<\/li>\n<li>The Palestine Association in Stockholm was organising a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1569800976626481\/\">demonstration<\/a>\u00a0in Stockholm on 15 May to commemorate the Nakba.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestina-komitee.nl\/\">Nederlands Palestina Komitee<\/a>\u00a0supported the Nakba commemoration in Amsterdam on 15 May and the Vigil &#8220;Light for Gaza&#8221; in Rotterdam on 17 May.<\/li>\n<li>Le\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blog.paixjuste.lu\/\">Comite pour une paix juste au Proche-Orient\u00a0<\/a>screened the movie \u201cThe Gate Keepers\u201d in Luxembourg on 20 May. On 8 June, it will organise a conference on Palestine in Luxembourg. On 16 June, a conference will be held with Yehuda Shaul (Breaking the Silence) on the organization\u2019s latest report on \u201cOperation Protective Edge\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The Neim\u00ebnster Abbey hosted the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.neimenster.lu\/fr\/Culture\/Offre-diversifiee-Calendrier-shop-visites\/Programmation\/Expositions\/Breaking-the-Silence-Thursday-30-April-2015-5-00-00-pm\">exhibition<\/a>\u00a0by the organization \u201cBreaking The Silence\u201d in Luxembourg from 18 April until 3 May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>NORTH AMERICA<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/necefsabeel.ca\/\">Canadian Friends of Sabeel<\/a>\u00a0organised a conference on \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/necefsabeel.ca\/?page_id=973\">Seeking the Peace of Jerusalem: Overcoming Christian Zionism in the Quest for Justice\u201d<\/a>, in Vancouver from 23 to 25 April 2015.<\/li>\n<li>The Israel-Palestine Working Group held its monthly meeting in New York on 14 May.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.newamerica.org\/nyc\/this-is-how-we-fought-in-gaza\/\">New America New Yok City<\/a>\u00a0is inviting participants to a conversation with Breaking the Silence&#8217;s Avner Gvaryahu and Eman Mohammed, the first female Palestinian photojournalist in Gaza. The conversation will address the role of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the human consequences of Israeli military policies on the ground in Gaza. The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newamerica.org\/nyc\/this-is-how-we-fought-in-gaza\/\">event<\/a>\u00a0will take place in New York on 28 May.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakingthesilence.org.il\/\">Breaking the Silence<\/a>, will also discuss the report\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.breakingthesilence.org.il\/pdf\/ProtectiveEdge.pdf\">\u201cThis is How We Fought in Gaza\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and its implications for human rights, security and the rule of law in Israel, in an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/actionnetwork.org\/events\/this-is-how-we-fought-in-gaza?can_id=fe4bf9c6c52e1d2e1a8fe55aeaad77a2&amp;source=email-event-61-this-is-how-we-fought-in-gaza&amp;email_referrer=event-61-this-is-how-we-fought-in-gaza\">event<\/a>\u00a0organized by the Foundation for Middle East Peace and hosted by Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, D.C on 1 June.<\/li>\n<li>Defence for Children International-Palestine will speak on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dci-palestine.org\/r?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fevents%2F848509065187036%2F&amp;e=7322ba74008853e5c9674a2fbd253350&amp;utm_source=dcipalestine&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=jvp_event_june9&amp;n=3\">Defending Palestinian Child Prisoners and Victims of Israeli Actions<\/a>\u00a0in an event organised in New York on 9 June.<\/li>\n<li>The Palestinian Youth Movement is organising a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pymusa.org\/summer-school-2015.html\">Youth Leadership Summer School Programme<\/a>\u00a0in Southern California from 26 July to 2 August.<\/li>\n<li>In commemoration of UNRWA&#8217;s 65th\u00a0anniversary, the Agency together with the Israel Palestine NGO Working Group invites NGO representatives to a Chatham House discussion. The speakers will be three Palestine refugees coming from the West Bank and Gaza. The discussion will take place on 3 June at Quaker House, 247 East 48th Street, New York from 10am-12pm.
