New America organized a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.newamerica.org\/fellows\/law-under-occupation\/\">conversation<\/a>\u00a0with Raji Sourani on Law under Occupation: Pursuing Implementation of Human Rights Standards and Accountability in Palestine.<\/li>\n<li>On 22 April in Atlanta Georgia, \u201cHands for Justice in Israel-Palestine\u201d is organizing an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arabamerica.com\/events\/hands-justice-israel-palestines-annual-fundraiser\/\">Israel-Palestine annual fundraiser<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>On 23 April, in Raleigh, North Carolina, Palestinian Children\u2019s Relief Fund (PCRF) is organizing a run to raise US $ 4, 000 and to improve care, quality of life and survival rates of the children of Palestine and the Middle East.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Europe<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 24 April, in Dublin, the Island Palestine Solidarity Campaign will participate in the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/dublin-join-the-palestine-bloc-at-the-reclaim-the-vision-of-1916-march-and-pagent\">march<\/a>\u00a0\u201cReclaim the Vision of 1916\u201d, to honour the women and men who struggled for Ireland\u2019s independence.<\/li>\n<li>On 20 May, CAABU hosted an\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.palestinecampaign.org\/events\/popular-unarmed-resistance-in-palestine-caabu-event-with-marwan-darweish\/\">event<\/a>\u00a0with Marwan Darweish on popular unarmed resistance in Palestine.<\/li>\n<li>On 21 May in Ireland, acclaimed Palestinian refugee poet, Rafeef Ziadah presented\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipsc.ie\/event\/limerick-rafeef-ziadah-we-teach-life\">poetry<\/a>\u00a0and music on the themes of exile, dispossession and resistance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>United Nations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>On 27 April at 10:00 a.m. at the ECOSOC Chamber, UNHQ, the Working Group of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of Palestinian People is organizing an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unispal.un.org\/databases\/dprtest\/ngoweb.nsf\/f12fded4d0597000852573fc005b9471\/4dd4ca61197c705885257f9900698915?OpenDocument\">open briefing<\/a>\u00a0to raise awareness of the situation of detained children and youth in the occupied Palestinian territory. The invited expert speakers are Ms. Sahar Francis, Director of Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association and Mr. Khaled Quzmar, General Director of Defence for Children International-Palestine.
