The UN Mission of Turkmenistan as the Chair of the United Nations Games Organizing Committee is pleased to invite UN staff members to attend the Closing Ceremony and Awards Presentation of the Games, to be held on Tuesday, 13 May 2025
from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM in Conference Room 4, followed by a Reception at Sputnik Area, UNHQ from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The United Nations Games 2025—held under the mandate of General Assembly resolution A/RES/78/325—have brought together over 800 participants representing Permanent Missions, the UN Secretariat, and specialized agencies. Through a month-long celebration of sports diplomacy and solidarity, the Games have served as a platform for fostering unity, trust, and intercultural dialogue within our international community.
The Closing Ceremony will feature remarks from dignitaries, the presentation of awards to champions and finalists across various disciplines, and reflections on the success of the 2025 Games.
