Juan Luis Garcia is a reporter for Sin Embargo, one of Mexico's digital media leaders, where he has written about the spread of drug cartels, corruption, and homicide. Through his reporting, he has followed UN reports and recommendations regarding various topics, specifically human rights abuses committed by companies. Previously, Garcia covered the Mexican Senate's legislative agenda. During the RAF Fellowship, he is interested in covering the recommendations of the Special Rapporteur on Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
