WHAT: United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Coordination Segment
More than two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, the United Nations will come together to mobilize action for a resilient recovery guided by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)at the inaugural UN ECOSOC Coordination Segment.
The Coordination Segment will address the main annual theme -“Building back better from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) while advancing the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” – and provide guidance towards the high-level segment of ECOSOC and the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in July.
