On 13th November 2018 SDG Advocate Richard Curtis joined parliamentary leaders in the UK to reaffirm government commitment to the SDGs and to making the world safer, healthier, and more prosperous for future generations. Co-hosted by the Coalition for Global Prosperity, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development, Project Everyone, and Bond, this event brought together more than 25 senior parliamentarians from across the political spectrum to stress the need for Britain to raise ambitions and take the lead in eradicating poverty around the world. In his remarks, Mr. Curtis reminded the high-level group that “The Sustainable Development Goals present a plan with optimism when the world needs it most. The UK has a vital role to play in driving positive change and ending poverty.” For more information on the event please click here.
