Dr. Alaa Murabit, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Advocate and Founder of the Voice of Libyan Women, attended the 2016 UN Global Compact Leaders Summit to call for a new, responsible mindset informed by the SDGs.
In her remarks during the first day of the Summit, Dr. Murabit highlighted that implementing the SDGs is not just a question of adopting new responsible business strategies, but developing a new mindset – to change priorities, behavior and narratives.
She stressed the need for a new and different approach—with new tools and new ways of engaging new audiences—to fulfill 17 ambitious goals in just 15 years.
