On April 22, leaders from international civil society will join together alongside 170 countries to celebrate the historic signing of the Paris Agreement. At this press briefing, civil society leaders from a wide sector of stakeholders will react to the signing, report on what’s been happening since December, and discuss steps forward for climate action. In the lead up to Paris, a number of different groups added their name to petitions demanding action to address the climate crisis; today that number continues to grow and we will reveal the current aggregated count during the briefing.
