A Sunday Meal For Street Children’s Social Reintegration And Education For A Bright Future
Winner of the Family Meal photo competition selected by the public: In Burundi, hunger gnaws at the soul. In this country recovering from conflict, street children often do not have a family, nor regular meals. This is why we came up with the Sunday meal, where every Sunday we get together with the street children and share a meal. Feeling accepted and cared for gives them an opportunity to have a better social life and integrate in school.
