The Secretary-General met with H.E. Ms. Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway. The Secretary-General expressed appreciation for Norway’s important contributions to the work of the Organization on peace and security, sustainable development and human rights. 

The Secretary-General congratulated Norway for its leadership in the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly on education matters.

They also discussed efforts undertaken to reform the United Nations and to advance an overall stronger prevention agenda. The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister shared views on situations of concern around the world.
