The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. William Samoei Ruto, C.G.H., President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces.

They discussed Kenya's leadership of the Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti (MSS) and regional peace and security issues, including the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
