Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of Ethiopia

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of Ethiopia.  The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister discussed the implementation of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (COHA) in the Tigray region and the UN’s support to the peace process.
    
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed the impact of the historic drought affecting the Horn of Africa, as well as regional peace and security issues.
