The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Secretary-General and the President exchanged views on the decisions taken by the African Union Peace and Security Council at its 17 February 2022 meeting. The Secretary-General reiterated the readiness of the United Nations to continue supporting efforts to bring about peace and stability in eastern DRC and the region.

Le Secrétaire général a rencontré S.E. M. Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, Président de la République démocratique du Congo. Le Secrétaire général et le Président ont eu un échange au sujet des décisions prises par le Conseil de paix et de sécurité de l'Union africaine lors de sa réunion du 17 février 2022. Le Secrétaire général a réaffirmé que les Nations Unies étaient prêtes à continuer à soutenir les efforts visant à instaurer la paix et la stabilité dans l'est de la RDC et dans la région.
