The Secretary-General met today with His Excellency Mr. Choguel Kokalla Maïga, Prime Minister of Mali.  
 
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister discussed the current political transition, the implementation of the Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in Mali and the security situation in the country.  
 
The Secretary-General highlighted the importance of holding the elections in keeping with the agreed timeline and reaffirmed the full commitment of the United Nations, and notably MINUSMA, alongside the Malian people.

Le Secrétaire général a rencontré aujourd’hui son excellence Choguel Kokalla Maïga, Premier Ministre, Chef du Gouvernement de la République du Mali.  
 
Le Secrétaire général et le Premier Ministre ont discuté de la transition politique, de la mise en œuvre de l’Accord pour la paix et la réconciliation au Mali, et de la situation sécuritaire dans le pays.  
 
Le Secrétaire général a souligné l'importance de tenir les élections dans les délais impartis et a réaffirmé l’engagement total des Nations Unies, et notamment de la MINUSMA, aux côtés du peuple malien.
