The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mrs. Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
 
The Secretary-General voiced his appreciation for the United Kingdom’s leadership on the issue of climate change, in particular for the country’s announcement that it will achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
 
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister also discussed other issues of mutual concern, including Yemen, Sudan, sustainable development and United Nations reform.
