The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning for Indonesia. 
 
The Secretary-General commended Indonesia´s growing commitment on climate change and highlighted Indonesia’s role as a regional bridge-builder and its role as an honest broker in the region.
 
He was informed by the Minister of the contribution made by Islamic Financing to Indonesia’s work on the Sustainable Development Goals.
 
The Secretary-General and the Minister also discussed Indonesia’s low-carbon initiative as part of the country’s commitment to the Paris Agreement.
