Today the Secretary-General met with H. E. Mr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
 
The Secretary-General extended his deepest condolences to the Government and people of Ethiopia for the tragic helicopter crash at UNISFA camp in Abyei in which 3 Ethiopian peacekeepers lost their life and several others were severely injured.
 
The Secretary-General and the Prime Minister exchanged views on the Horn of Africa region, including the positive developments in the area of peace and security and the way forward on resolving remaining challenges.
