The Secretary-General will be in The Bahamas on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September.

He will be there to express solidarity with the Government and the people of the Bahamas and to offer the UN’s support in the country’s recovery from Hurricane Dorian.

The Secretary-General is expected to meet Prime Minister Hubert Minnis in Nassau as well as other senior officials. He will also visit people impacted by the hurricane and the humanitarian teams assisting them. He will be back in New York on Saturday evening.
