Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Evo Morales Ayma, President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia

The Secretary-General met today with H.E. Mr. Evo Morales Ayma, President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. He thanked President Morales for Bolivia’s strong support for the new 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. He encouraged Bolivia to support the implementation of the Agenda through its national legislation and policies.

The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for Bolivia’s support to the climate change negotiations. The Secretary-General said he hoped Bolivia would share its vision on climate change and the environment with other countries in the Latin American region.
