Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.M. Don Felipe VI, King of Spain

The Secretary-General met today with His Majesty Don Felipe VI, King of Spain. The Secretary-General welcomed the strong collaboration between the UN and Spain on preventing violent extremism and commended the steadfast commitment of Spain to supporting victims of terrorism. The Secretary-General thanked Spain for the continued support to the Western Sahara negotiating process and to MINURSO, as well as for its role in UNIFIL.
