At the UN Youth Forum, the two-day Media Zone will serve as a dynamic platform to amplify youth voices and spur action on the 2030 Agenda. The Zone will host youth activists, digital media influencers and media representatives, and feature live programming, interactive exhibits and interview opportunities.

Live programming, which will include panel discussions, interviews, Ted-style Talks and presentations, is expected to take place between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. and will be live streamed on UN Web TV, covered by the media and promoted on United Nations and participating entities’ social media platforms. In 2018 alone, the #SDGLive hashtag had a potential reach of 283 million on social media.

The SDG Media Zone is organized by the UN Department of Global Communications, the UN Foundation and the Pvblic Foundation.
