Noma Bolani is a broadcast journalist with the South African Broadcasting Corporation - working in both radio and television. Her work centres around local politics and foreign affairs. At the United Nations, Noma plans to focus on gender equality programmes and how the United Nations is applying pressure on countries to ensure they are working towards this goal. An award-winning journalist, Noma has covered violent elections in Kenya and visited the UN Peacekeeping bases in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
