The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join their team for a period of up to 6 months.

UNAI is an initiative that aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of UN goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution. 

The internship is full-time and unpaid, 5 days a week, and responsibilities include conducting research on thematic issues related to UNAI’s principles; creating original content for the website and social media; assisting with planning and organizing lectures; managing databases and providing general support to the team.

Suitable candidate must:

  • Have strong communication skills;
  • Have ability to work well in a team and to be client oriented;
  • Have literacy in standard software applications and a keen interest in the work of the UN;
  • Be enrolled in a graduate program; be a final year student of a first university degree program; or have graduated within the year.
