The United Nations marks the passage of General Assembly resolution 181 (ii) of 1947 every year as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, with special meetings and events at Headquarters in New York, and at the UN offices in Vienna, Geneva, Nairobi and elsewhere, organized on or around 29 November.
In light of the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the thirtieth Meeting of States Parties to the Convention, which was originally scheduled to be held at United Nations Headquarters from 15 to 19 June, was postponed.

The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, a subsidiary organ of the General Assembly, will convene, with the support of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the International Conference on the Question of Jerusalem from 26 to 28 June in Rabat, Morocco.
